We offer three partnerships that bring hands-on STEM experiences directly to your school. Activities will be set up in one area of your school, and multiple groups of students can partake throughout the school day.
SEWRPC Speakers (Grades 9-12)
The Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission provides in class speakers to encourage careers in city planning and gain awareness of their impact in our community.
MATC Mobile STEM Lab (Grades 9) (Groups of 10-12)
Milwaukee Area Technical College brings a mobile STEM lab to your school for a hands-on automation demonstration. Please note: This partnership is only available for Milwaukee County Schools, and a 15' x 25' off-street space is required for parking. Students participate in a 10–20-minute session.
Wisconsin DNR Wildlife Activity (Grades 5-12) (Groups of 10-30)
Students learn about careers in wildlife conservation and how staff protect animals and habitats in Wisconsin. The activity includes hands-on identification with furs, feathers, skulls, tracks, and (fake) scat. Standard sessions are 40-50 minutes, but can be adjusted to 20-60 minutes.
